Random Photos from New Years bash in Omaha

Allo everyone,

Earlier this week folks from across the country filled up the gas tank or boarded a plane for some fun in Omaha! The week was filled with (but not limited to) appliance repair fun, wonderful cooking from some amazing chefs, traveling in a 1981 deVille (not Fleetwood) V-8-6-4 powered Caddy, convecting in an Amana Radarange, and of course last but not least - washing!

Travelers from around the country were Terry, Roger, Pat, Fred, Jamie, Nate, and myself. Thanks again to Greg for being a wonderful host. It is always a great time at your place, especially with so many!

First up - a great wash action shot from the Blackstone 150

One of the first tasks was doing some minor repairs to Greg's KDS-14. Some surgery was required on the timer - so a trip to Grainger for some copper rivets and patience delivered a fully functional timer!

You can spot one of the new rivets holding the contact in place on the second row.

Thankfully the only photo taken of myself was this silly shot. I suppose I'm gesturing to the recently fixed timer.

The garage was renamed the lounge. A good portion of time was spent out here.

Thank God for space heaters (and a 30A circuit)!
