That Litton microwave was my parent's first microwave oven that as purchased while I was in college, I believbe spring of 1974 or 1975.  That microwave was still working when they sold their house in May 2002.  It was too big fgor their new senior aparttment.  I already had two microwaves at the time & couldn't take it.  I wish I had now.  It was a wonderful microwave.

This Proves my Point!!!

Notice most of these appliances listed are fairly reasonable...If you come farther South, the prices would be terribly inflated!

That's a very early Litton. Maybe 1973 or so. The date is on the back of the machine. We have a Litton Microwave, Model 412 that is still working great. It needs a new tempered glass bottom but is in great shape otherwise. It's just sitting in the garage awaiting a new home. Problem is it's very heavy! It was
purchased in 1977.

I think it's later than 73. We bought one new in late 75 and it didn't have the temp dials on it.. just the same clock timer on the top and two rocker switches along the bottom for on/off and the other for "defrost" . This one is fancier and I think it came out very shortly after we'd bought ours. But I could be wrong so I wouldn't stake my life on it. LOL
