Hello all,

I was wondering, what can you guys tell me about the GE made RCA Rim-Flo machines? How long was their production run, and what different models did they have? I'm trying to identify a childhood machine, so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

One of the FilterFlo/RimFlo washers my Papaw had was an RCA. It was quite some years ago when I was really young so I'm not sure of many details about it. I know it was pretty straight forward though, three water temps, three load sizes, and I think just a Regulars and a Delicates cycle. It was white, panel and all, with the pull-ring style timer knob. Other than that it was all completely GE RimFlo design. I remember thinking it funny that they also had an RCA TV and wondering how one company could make electronics and washing machines at the same time, but I was too young to understand who actually made it or why a GE and other brand washer would look exactly the same.

This one had the dark control panel, I believe with 3 water levels and 3 temps. May have had 2 or 3 cycles, not sure on that one. It had a speckled basket and if I remember correctly, the 2 in 1 agitator. It's been at least 10+ years since that one got traded in for one of the GE wizard washers, which still works to this day.
