RCA matched set by WESTINGHOUSE?

WELL here is something interesting. This set, looks to me to be, very Westinghouse. The lid on the washer screams Westinghouse, and the dryer could be very very Westinghouse too. Whats weird here is that RCA in Canada also used rebadged WP machines too. Thoughts? Is this WCI all the way?

I want a Westinghouse TL machine, but I could be opening the lid up to a Canadian Pig like what Eddy has?

RCA and Whirlpool went hand in hand for many years, but I've never known them to have any affiliation with Westinghouse.  The slanted consoles look very Whirlpool, but the controls do resemble Westinghouse.   I don't know who might own RCA anymore, so anything is possible, I guess.

Those are definitely Westinghouse or WCI built. You can tell by the washer lid and dryer door. Wish we could see the inside of the washer.

The washer will likely be similar to this style (also Eddy's) White Westinghouse. Some of the lower end models had a straight vane agitator, but with the RCA brand it's anyone's guess. That's a very unusual control panel, kinda cool.

My sister had an RCA washer that was very much along the lines of a GE Filter Flo. She bought it new and got a good 8 years out of it before passing it down to my niece for her first home. It lasted another 3 years after that

Hmmmm.  GE owned RCA for a number of years.

This is Canada. Everything's different up there. After RCA and Whirlpool split (late 60s), RCA still needed an appliance line (to help their dealers fill out their showrooms). They were relatively limited, though, to the companies manufacturing up there...which in those days were only 4: Inglis, GE, Westinghouse in Hamilton, and GSW (probably using the Easy mechanism). They'd just split from Inglis, GE wasn't in the picture yet (that was early 80s in the US). so they could go with either Westinghouse or GSW. I think that the stores up there (the Bay and Eatons) had lined up behind GE and GSW, so that left only Westinghouse as an option with a relatively full line and no pesky associations with competitors.

I have the Canadian RCA service manuals from most of the 1960s and 1970s.

RCA went from Inglis-made appliances (originally badged as RCA Whirlpool, then RCA Victor and RCA) to Westinghouse for it's complete appliance lineup in 1971.

I have sent to Robert the 1975 Canadian RCA catalog and it's available for download here, note that they kept the Custom and Supreme names from previous models but their top-of-the-line models were now branded as "Ultra":
