It's been a few years since I've had a permanent installation for my machines (I was busy erecting the place). But last month I was finally able to get the plumbing and drains built-up and not only start to sort out some of the 'gotachas', but able to run a few loads of laundry as well!

First the WCD-64 which some may remember. She's running like a champ!

Followed by...

Next my FL Westy. After getting a little water on the floor and the suspension back in line from the move, she's proved herself every bit as capable as her Maytag mates.

Of course...

This is Maytag Country so of course I have a few (too many) center-dial machines hanging out. The early California gold machine has really grown on me now that I've got the lid bypassed, the bleach dispenser fixed up and a new tub bulb installed.

The white 806 has the early timer and runs along merrily. The pilot-lighted panel neighbor needs a new tub seal but it'll be worth it for the crazy versatility.

And if you're going to dry, why not do it in style?

The dryer wall still needs some work on venting (I used double-width nutone exhausts). Electric service is in to run 3 machines simultaneously with a 4th on the other wall (combo or filtrator). So far, so good-

And honorable mention to the Cordoba Kid. Runs great, decent shape, later-style 806.... but variety is the spice of life, right? This one may be hitting the dusty trail to make way for a couple other projects.

All things must pass....

Of course the "showroom" is unheated along with most of the downstairs, meaning now all the water lines are drained and lids closed until spring time arrives. A fun two weeks it was though!

Hope you guys enjoyed the pics....! -Cory

Good job Cory! Thanks for the great photos, and good to see you posting again!

Wow. I am in awe. Particularly like the peg board idea. I'd just be standing in the doorway viewing and smiling.

Great Pictures Cory!!!

I love the Westinghouse Front Loader, I've never seen one of that style. Our next door neighbor in New Jersey as a kid had this style top loading westy and matching dryer.

Maytag with "crazy versatility"

Is that an A407. I agree it is rather unique. Nice collection, and I love the tub shot of the gold machine. Thanks for posting.

Have a good one,
James

This is Maytag Country so of course I have a few (too many)

I disagree. One can NEVER have too many Maytags!!

Absolutely gorgeous setup!

So, when do the wash-ins commence? :)

WOW Cory, what a beautiful collection. Love the Westinghouse front loader. College roomate parents had this matching set and it was love at first site!!! Thanks so much for sharing. Terry

Nice! Thanks for sharing!

Great collection. Love the Frigidaire WCD-64. Is that a 55 Filtrator sitting next to it? And the Westy front loader is very cool...love that too.
