Great photos! Loved them all. My favorites are the front loading Westinghouse (a joy to watch) and the coppertone Maytag. Thanks for posting.

Forgive my doltishness, by uni-dir do you mean one direction
tumble? If not, I thought they didn't start dual direction
until the early 80's, say 1983. I remember seeing that style
with the dual dispenser doors, and even single dispensers.
I don't recall ever seeing such a snazzy window and door top
edge treatment. Any panel illumination on that Gem?

Could you take some close up shots of the control panel and the detergent dispensers. This would have to be one of my favourite vintage frontloaders. My aunt had a stackable set before she bought a Miele set in 1988.
