Evening guys,

Just thought I'd let you in on a few things. A few days back I got a 1992 Hotpoint 1000 De Luxe 9537A, THE EXACT SAME MODEL I GREW UP WITH!!! I am thrilled that after 12 years I have finally got my Mum's first machine back! This machine was the one that started it all for me when I spent my childhood days helping Mum load it and occasionally running in to the kitchen to see it spin. Mum is equally as happy to see one again. This range, the first to feature the Aquarius Wash System were the next best thing to the WM series. The rinsed better because during the interim spins they do a 1000 rpm burst. Mine needed a bit of work done but it is in my wooden house now ready to be pressed into service tomorrow. I LOVE IT! I feel like I'm 6 years old again hahaha! Anyway I will take a pic for you guys tomorrow after I polish her up for her maiden wash under new ownership. That is 3 childhood machines I have found now.

To match my new childhood washer I have rebuilt my 9325A (it was in bits) so that I now have a matching set.

I also got a Hoover Ecologic dryer and it is my mission now to find an Ecologic washer to match.

Finally I have got rid of the 9510W and the 1535W because I have a rare enough 95132 which I love and I didn't really want to hog space with duplicates. So I have a New Generation Hotpoint at last and a Next Generation Hotpoint matching set. Now I just have the sort out what I am going to do with the 9534A and obviously when a Hoover Ecologic lands the Hoover Logic washer dryer will be stripped.

That's all until tomorrow folks, James.

The WM series are programmed to do 1000 rpm bursts on interim spins but for the 95 series this was the first model to do so because the Aquarius wash action needed a different timer to allow the new tumble patterns.

WM22

My WM22 is basically the same as our old 9536 model (Yes a different timer & Module set up) but rather than doing two 500rpm interim spins it does one 500rpm spin burst then a 1000rpm spin burst & the only other difference is the very short & slow wash tumbles during the heating stage.
