My Aunt Dorthy died a month ago at age 92. I inherited Uncle Bob's suitcase they took on their honeymoon.
I can't find much about Red Cap Luggage. The suitcase is like brand new and has that great old smell to it.
It is pure leather and I think was made in the 50's. Would love to know more about it

Red Caps have been handling baggage for train travelers for many decades, and they work for tips only.   I didn't know they had a line of luggage named after them.

It looks like that handsome bag dates back to the golden age of rail travel.   I'll bet it received extra special handling, too.  Enjoy it!
