remember the electro Hygiene vac that needed a home

My Royal model 880 DOES have a fragrance chamber. under the lamp. will post pics later, unless someone else does first.

The Electro Hygiene has it -and one of my Royal uprights has the air freshner-moth ball chamber.

On the cover for the air freshner chamber-you would leave it closed All holes covered for vacuuming when the chamber isn't in use.Even if you don't use it-the cover open or removed-could serve as a form of suction controller.With one of the Royals when I bought it new-Royal enclosed a packet of Air Freshner pellets that you put in the chamber while vacuuming.You may want to try it with one of those Oreck Air Frteshner tablets-You may have to break it to fit-Will try it when I get home from work.Kirby also had similar tablets.The Royal frehner crystals lasted for quite a while-then had to replace them.

I normally buy the generic brand scented vac tabs at any local vac shop, 10 for a few bucks, break them in half and put a piece in the different vacs chamber, not in the bag usually, works just the same .
