Removing mildew from laundry

As far as I know.......

20 Mule Team Borax is the only Borax commonly available. I've used it as recently as last year, and it is a good laundry additive.

Damp Rid...

Another thing you might want to consider for your linen and clothes closet is Damp Rid to keep the humidity down to begin with.

I have such dry summers here that mildew isn't a problem, but it certainly helps in a damp basement. Just empty it occasionally. Silica gel packets might help in the clothes drawers. I also usually store a bar or two of fragrant soap in my drawers to freshen things up. No, it doesn't kill odors, but it's a nice coverup.

Guys, thank you so much for all of the advice. Mike, the Cheer Bright Clean powder, 20 Mule Team Borax and Suavitel fabric Softener worked PERFECTLY. I'll be using the borax from now on. BTW, is it Cheer Bright Clean (Concentrated) powder or the regular.
