Hey anyone know of the best route for me to find a repair person to work on a vintage ironer (Ironrite). Called several places here in Atlanta and they of course did not have a clue as to what I was even talking about. Thanks in advance for any suggestions...

Ironrite.com For Parts

But you'll probably have to do the repairs yourself.

Ironrite.com has a decent offering of spare parts and one does see the occasional part now and then on fleaBay, but Ironrite will offer sound information IIRC, on how to go about the repair, and may even have a service manual or copy for purchase.

Only person I know works on ironers is Mike Arnold, but he is in northern New York State. *Think* that "DecoDan* or whatever his name is may work on them also. Ironers were made by Kenmore,Maytag,GE,Silex, Thor, amoung others,so a old laundry repair person from a certian era *might* remember them, but Ironrites were the only ironers with heating shoes on the bottom.
