What they don't explain is how things like pitchers that are too tall to fit on the higher rack could get clean on the lower rack! I still can't figure that!

 

I wanted to use mine for a while and replace it with another dishwasher to avoid wearing it out but I can't! I still like it too much! I like it's looks, it's sounds and I do pre-rinse anyway!

 

One good thing about this dishwasher is that it made me get smaller plates and glasses! I think eating in large plates and drinking in huge glasses are a part of the reason why I got so fat!

Eleven-inch plates

In whose universe?  My spin-tube maxed out at 9".  Beyond that, and they clipped the bottom of the top rack.

 

Maybe 11" was shorter back then.

 

Phil, I too marveled at how ours could get stuff clean that didn't even face the spray tube directly.  It always did, though!  I miss that machine, and the way it sounded like a rain-shower when it ran.
