Rhubarb is my very favorite pie, so this has got to be wonderful! My Grandmother always wanted to know what kind of pie I wanted...ALWAYS RHUBARB! LOL!

Yay, rhubarb! I just made a batch of strawberry-rhubarb jam. Kevin, I will definitely make this cake. It looks and sounds great, and it's different than what I usually see in this region.

My god that looks good!! I have been living in Mexico for 10 years now, Rhubarb does not exist here! There are two things I miss about living in the USA and Canada... both from Spring..... Rhubarb and Lilacs!

Kelly - I love your memory of lilacs! They are another indication of spring, as are the bright yellow forsythia. The lilacs were in full bloom last month and so fragrant. They are our rewards for surviving a long, cold winter!!

"Pie Plant"

Yes Whirlcool our great great grandmother's called rhubard "Pie Plant", there is mention made of "pieplant" in(Laura Ingalls)Books, i had to google it and  sure enough it was rhubarb.  Your rhubarb coffee cakes turned out  beautifully. alr.
