Now that summer is coming, the sewer roaches are starting to come out. My friend Linda swears by them. Have any of you ever try them? I don;t want to spend the money on them if they don't work, but I don't like pesticides either....Bill in Az....

When we first moved to Houston we lived in a temporary apartment for 6 months, it was loaded with roaches too. Just go in the kitchen after dark and the roaches would come out everywhere. Karen would stomp her feet to let them know she was coming before going in there. The managers attitude was "If you live in Houston, you're going to have roaches". Hmph!

So what I did was got a large can of boric acid powder. On each wall I pulled out the electrical outlet or wall switch and dumped in about 4 tablespoons of the powder. Then I put the vacuum cleaner on "blow" and stuck it in the opening in the wall. Replace the switch/outlet and move on to the next one. Within a few days there were no more roaches. My neighbors didn't even have any more roaches. And the nice thing about it was there was no poison or powder out in the actual apartment. I imagine that there were no more roaches for years to come in that place.

Rid of ex? A plug-in device. Send me a dozen *LOL*

Have one, used it and done know if I like it or not.

My neighbors are turd-world refugees and have zero concept of cleanliness or sanitation. Roaches galore right after I moved in. Listen, I dont give a rats @$$ that you believe that roach may be your great-grandmother reincarnated, it's gonna die! Listen to me Mr. Roach, you have the whole planet to choose to live. Stay out of where I pay rent!

For me keeping the sink dry and full of chlorinated cleanser, keeping cleanser in the garbage can (when I can't take out the garbage that night), and ensuring that ALL food is sealed up tigher than a clam's @$$, they is GONE.

Of course I have those roach-bait posion disks by the dozens in my kitchen.

Don't like poisons but I have greased the palm of the exterminator and have taken him to the basement to spray UP into the downstairs neighbors pipe crevices and such.

When I fail to see him, I use four foggers simultaneously down there. In a super emergency I take inseciticde that comes with a driniking-straw-like attachement on its nozzle and shoot it into the walls that my water ppipes come in from (such wall being shared with the neighbor.

So as to the efficacy of the Riddex Ultrasonic transponser. Not so sure it's fabulous, but it may not hurt, either.
