Neat machine. Love the Philco-ish control panel. I'm guessing it's circa 1970?

It was produced by GR Mfg. in 1969 - stamped on the frame of the machine.

I did some checking on GR Mfg. Company and found they still exist in Greeville, Michigan and are producing refrigerators for...you guessed it, Electrolux.

The military designation is GN for Gibson Refrigerator Greenville MI.

I'll be..... I remember that in the 1970 washer review of CR, they mentioned the Gibson, Kelvinator, Hamilton and possibly Wizard as being basically the same machine. It seemed there were a multitude of annoying problems with those machines during the tests - one wouldn't run at low speed because of a miswired motor, the transmission seal on another opened and spewed oil and the filter spout on another was aimed so most of the water completely missed the filter. I think what they said was -"they are basically good machines but our experience indicates they might be more trouble prone than others". ...
