Robert H roden Bendix 1940-1945 Launderall 1945-1947?

This is or was my grandfather. He died before we were all born. He was the eastern salesmanager for Bendix during WWII and Headed Lauderall before what we believe was his first heart attack. I have an ad he did with his name on it. I am looking for any references,pictures ads etc that reference him. thanks John Roden

John, check out any existing ads for Launderall you may have.  IIRC, one of the mfr. towns on the Jacobs Launderall ad is Holly Michigan.  If you go by  the cities of production you may find some of what you are looking for in the archives of local newspapers.  I was thinking of corporate news,  factory  production awards that type of thing.  The Holly area IIRC, was also covered in the Flint Journal.  You might try the newspaper archives in other Launderall manufacturing cities.  The scary thing about newspapers merging/closing is the careless loss of archives.
