Hi, I was hopping someone could sell me a tub nut for a 1965 rollermatic washer. The water bellow was torn and the nut was rusted to the shaft. I tried everything I could, but had to cut the tub nut off. I see the nut is relieved on the underside so I assume a regular nut will not work. Anyway will someone please help?

Is this the the turquoise Custom Deluxe washer you got from Florida?

Do you really mean the tub nut or the agitator nut?

I don't know who might have that part but here's the part number for the tub nut:

7528588

Why did you remove the tub nut?

From your description, I was thinking you were referring to the pulsator cone nut. There's the large "sombrero" nut that holds the plastic cones of the agitator over the pulsator.

But on most washers with this agitator, there's a nut with only the top part that's threaded that holds the lower cone (the rubber pulsator) in place. I think the 1965 parts manuals don't show it as it was added after the beginning of the production of this agitator. I don't know exactly when but I can tell you that most of the washers that had their agitators replaced had it and later production (I'm thinking somewhere during 1965) had it too.

The picture shows it. Is it the nut you're talking about?

Ok, I was wondering why you would have done that to replace the bellows. Then the part number in my post above is the correct one.
