Roper T&C stove questions.

First, I'm missing one oven door handle (see picture). If anyone has one, please let me know.

 

Second, I couldn't figure out how to remove the broiler drawers at the bottom. On my O&M you pull the drawer all the way out and lift up and the drawer come out of the tracks. Not so with the Roper. I didn't want to force anything so I stopped messing with it. I'm recovering from surgery (ruptured disk in my neck) and hope to get back to work on this stove next month.

You might want to contact The Old Road Home for parts and advice. Give them the model number. They specialize in collecting and restoring gas stoves, but they at least used to be more willing to work with people than some of the places that just want to charge you 8 grand to restore your stove.

Thanks Tom, I've contacted them and just about all the other appliance resto people. Only one had the parts - two handles shipped for $243.00. (I asked for two because one other has a cracked insert, but I decided I can fix it). Looks like I just need to find a parts stove on craigslist.
