RPM range for gearbox on dual & triple action Top-Loading agitating washers

What is the input RPM range for the gearboxes on: Whirlpool, SpeedQueen, GE , Kenmore and Fridgidaire Top-Loading agitator washing machines? Dual and Triple action?

Motor RPM is what I need to know.

I have the Whirlpool 23102 triple action agitating washer.It is new but I misplaced the owner's manual so do not know the motor RPM.

I would doubt the motor rpm would be listed in any owners manual.

If it's a very traditional induction motor with a centrifugal switch, those generally run at 1725rpm.

However, you really need the motor part numbers in order for any of us to be really sure.

The model # is 23102 , but there is no issue with the machine.

Does anyone know the motor RPM for the SpeedQueen AWN542 and AWN432 , or in other words the input RPM going into the gearbox that performs the oscillating function of the agitator?

most common of just about any two speed motor is 1140 and 1725rmp.....geared or pulleys is about the only thing that would change it drastically....

when it comes to FLers and TLer HE machines, those motors are more or less variable....

about the best your going to find in todays machines is final spin speed in rpms...upwards of 1600+...

if anything, there are times you would find the speed on the motor itself...

Hi Nathan, you need to give us the WP model # of your washer to begin to answer your question.

WP model #s start with several letters then some numbers and usually more letters and maybe another number.

Ex.LAA5500XKW2

A Whirlpool-made Kenmore would have a model number 110.xxxxxxxx.  The 23102 snippet is a stock or catalog number, not the full model number.

I just realized that due to pulleys the motor RPM may not be the same as the input RPM into the gearbox of a given machine. So what I need is the gearbox input RPM for the Whirlpool and the SpeedQueen AWN432 and AWN542

Speed Queen

The speed of the pulley on the transmission is the same as the tub spin speed. 710 RPM for high speed.

The motor shaft drives the transmission directly (no belt or pulleys are involved) on your Kenmore 110.23102311 (and any Whirlpool-made machine of the same design) so the transmission input RPM is the same as the motor RPM.
