Hey guys, I’m curious how many people have washer and dryer sets whether it’s a tumble dryer or a spin dryer, how many people here have sets that look the same physically but are two different brands?

An aunt and uncle of mine had a GE Filter Flo washer mated with a Hotpoint dryer of same vintage. Before that they had a DD Kenmore washer, circa 1991/1992 mated with a 1992 Whirlpool dryer.
For a short stretch, my parents had a Kenmore washer, circa 1999 mated with a Whirlpool dryer, circa 1986. Conversely, for the last 17 years they (just my mother now, as my father passed away in 2019) have had a washer and dryer of the same brand which look nothing alike. Washer is a DC Maytag from 1993, and dryer is a Norgetag Maytag from 2003.

Here is my mismatched pair, it’s a KLAD Spin dryer
Nova mini wash, both of them work although by the looks of it I may need to replace a part of the cable on the Klad spin dryer
