Samsung Eco Bubble...worst idea yet?

I am open to new ideas and unusual designs, it's just this one in particular strikes me as being a bit pointless, it may very well work better in practice than it appears on paper though!

I hate the mind set that old=good new=rubbish and that is that. Many aspects of newer machines are much better than those of older machines and vice versa, depends on the indivudial machines really.

I wonder how much these will cost though, I can't imagine them being cheap!

in the range of £500-548. TBH I actually quite like the design of these Samsung machines, have warmed to them - have quite a classic look about them.

Consumer Reports wasn't too impressed with the PowerFoam - which I guess is the same thing.

I'm not so sure how bubbly will improve fabrics. Looks like another useless feature that is designed to reduce the life of the machine. If I wanted extra bubbly, that's what dish washing liquid is for. Given their track record of using crap electronics... The Samsung Eco Bubble coming to a CL near you!!!

I would love to see that thing make bubbles with the water that I have. I think you are supposed to use He detergent with that also. Bubbles with He soap sounds like defeating the purpose. Dish Soap in this machine would be fun to watch. I wonder if too many suds would void the warranty, it would get them out of many repair jobs.

I think that most people here didn't like it because it counters everything that we have been told by the washer mfgs.
Like more suds = less washing action and more suds = suds lock resulting in an inefficient spin.
I also saw that CR also liked the GE FL machine. Hmph!
