Samsung Electric DRYER Keeps Tripping Thermal Fuse

I replaced the thermistor and ran it straight out the vent into the garage, still tripped the fuse. The discharge air was warm, but not hot.
I have been thru this dryer and cleaned all the lint and debris. Everything seems to be working normally. Turn it on and it warms (again not hot regardless of setting), but if you stop it and open the door, and restart the machine, there is now no heat as the fuse has tripped. (Checked with meter).
The heating element doesn’t seem to be making any contact that could short it out (see pics).
I have read it may be the computer board...oh geez I hope not.
Any other possibilities?
I just ordered a new heating element kit (last pic), hopefully that will sort it out...this thing is only 5 years old![this post was last edited: 7/1/2020-13:41]

Heating Element TF keeps tripping

Are you sure you are using the correct TF ?

 

Replace the wires and terminals that connect to the TF, If you have WP terminals use those they are much better than anyone else.

 

It is not the computer.

Well I got the new thermal fuse on the heater box, a new TF on the fan box, along with a new heating element, and a new high limit thermostat. And as mentioned above, I already replaced the thermistor.
So does it work? Well I did do a load to “damp dry” and it did achieve that much, so there’s that. But...
I then switched the load over to an AmanaTag (?, see pic below) to finish, and man that heated up the exhaust air to a much higher level. Samsung was a 6/10, and the Tag was about an 8/10 I’d say. 10 being too warm for bare feet in/at the rear vent.
The Samsung turned the load well (clear window) but the fan was not nearly as blasty as a top-filter WP dryer, or the 4 roller WP dryers. The Tag had a bit more umph from the fan, but not a lot. So long story short Samsung dryers seem a bit “meh” to me now that I have looked much closer and compared.
I could tinker and try different settings, e.g. “Heavy Duty”, or “Quick Dry”, but I think I have had enough of this dryer for now.

try an lg dryer. I noticed the normal cycle gets nice and hot and you can hear airflow through the exhaust tube. I have been using the 41 minute cycle and it does an exceptional job.
