If these machines ever make it to the US, they would cost around $2,770.00 US. I don't much fancy paying that kind of money for a plastic Korean washer. I'd rather buy a Miele if it came down to it, thank you very much.
I like what Eugene said about future machines not even having controls and requiring an internet connection. What fun hackers and Big Brother could have with our laundry habits/products!
Again, this type of machine is aimed at people who find laundry day odious and don't want to have to think about any of it, not putting in the detergent or even seeing the laundry in the machine, for that matter. I do NOT like the smoked out covers on the glass doors these days. They seem to be more and more common.

Detergent dispenser thing reminds me of Indesit Moon!
The control panel is nice, but that display sure is small in comparison to the rest of its features.
Panasonic origin by any chance, as they promoted one like this at IFA 2013?
Well, I think if you're putting on screen on a washer, there are only so many design choices. Most big screens are put in the middle of the fascia - see Miele, V-Zug, BSH, AEG...
What I don't like about these washers is that you just have a limited selection of temperatures and the cycles. Most of them I don't need but others that I would need are not available.
