The LG annoyed me to death. Long wassh cycles, clothes wear, buggy programming.
Not recomended.
I got a Samsung QuickDrive - which I will be selling in mid-term again, but that depends on when I got rid of the LG.
Only payed half the store price from Amazon WareHouse Deals.
Quick review: Perfectly passable, wouldn't buy for full price.
For cheap, yeah sure, why not.
It still is a Samsung.
The wash performance is across the board pretty good, really. Even in the rather short cycles.
And for one or 2 people, this washer will be quick most of the time.
Rinsing is surprisingly good - though due to some shotty programming softner isn't utilized all that well.
Even larger items on Cottons work pretty good, which was a worry at first.
But now the downsides.
Once you get beyond a certain load size, the washer is no quicker than a normal Samsung.
Especially on Cottons 40 that is annoying since the normal cottons version is for what ever reason 3h.
2h are a temphold main wash.
Which is totaly overkill.
The washer spins for the most part.
But is rather instable over all.
The Super Speed cycle only goes to 40C - but allows up to 5 rinses, a soak, a prewash and intensive.
So why they don't let you set 60C (or even better 90C) and just extend the cycle accordingly is beyond me.
It claims it is A class spin despite being 1400rpm - don't fall for that.
The Eco cycle spins for 30min.
(Though to be fair the machine allows you to just run certian aspects of a wash cycle - like wash, rinse or spin - on their own, which I love. Makes it so much more versatile - boil cottons wash, quick or deep rinses, and a long eco spin.)
So yeah, I'll keep that until I sold my other stuff and get it's one true final replacement that'll stay.
