A friend of mine found this on youtube...
It referres to a early 80s FL Sangirgio TEMA 831...

In those years Sangiorgio was an independent brand...since it hase been involved in the French Brandt...

There were three ranges: TEMA, TEMA Export, and TESI...

I know them very well as the owner's manula was the same for all! Yes..ant the beginning there was the list of the control panel "possibilities" and then the esplication of each pushbutton...so as none had got all pushbutton you had to read only the ones you had on your model...

There were many model on TEMA range, wich was the one without the regulatione control knob, then the TEMA Expory range allowed you to do this operation by pushing a button to reduce untill arriving to the top, the TESI which 825 model is the one I stil have got...the upper one, the last, it was the 827, with the regulatione of the spin by pushing the button 400/800 rpm.

Then the lid...only the TESI range had the "inconfondibile" squared windowed lid...the TEMA had that chromated circular lid which incredible seems my first grandma's first FL...that was of course a Sangriorgio TEMA too!!!

Hi Diomede!
I'm interested, just working my ass off right at the moment. Brandt went from boring but good to interesting and good about that time. Do you suppose it was the designers from Sangirgio who changed things?
I remember those manuals from Italy. You often got one which covered about 199 models! And, somehow, the differences were really not all that big, just made to look important.
Do you know if these had the pumps separate from the main motor or did they use the reverse spin/pump technology like the Americans still do?

Hi Keven! Thanks for have answered and sorry me for have been rude...but as I did not see any answer in a few days I supposed I wrong something in posting that imagine/link...

No reverse spin/pump there was in those machines, like instead there was in the 70/80s Indesit FL...yes those Indesit FL started the spinning with the tub full filled and the spin energy eliminated the water while the motor worked as a pump too...

Sangiorgio had got a separate draining pump though...I remember we have changed it at least twice...because often the filter of the pump needed to be cleaned but none was up to do it and...the pump went broken!

Reminds me a bit of the stackable Westys sold here in the US in the early sixties. Hard to get a feel for the size of it. Is it a fairly small machine?
