Can anyone tell me the algorithm cycle for the kitchen aid dishwasher? I have the KDTE334D.
I had recently installed a whole house water softener, boy can I tell you, cleaning performance is much better!
I would select “Pro wash > hi temp wash > sani rinse > heated dry” this would get most of the dishes cleaned before a water softener. Now, I have unselected “hi temp wash” and dishes are still getting really clean!

Somewhere I saw someone post, if my memory serves me right- sani rinse automatically raises wash temp anyways and heated dry may not needed since it’s already hot?

I’m contemplating on not using sani rinse, but I have kids in the house and have lots of small cups and baby stuff that I would want sterilization.

Since my Kenmore Elite is essentially a KitchenAid, SaniRinse already gives you the equivalent of high-temp wash and even if I select the extra long dry, the heating element never really comes on and it definitely doesn't cause the little fan to come on either.   So selecting SaniRinse pretty much is everything.  I'm like Matt, if I'm awake when it finishes with SaniRinse, I open the door.  Otherwise, everything is dry by the time I wake up.

Tried flash dry

I unselected heated dry, kept sani rinse on and started running it after dinner. Normally I would wait to go to bed and run it.
It’s done before I go to bed and I have been opening it. Dishes are much drier in the morning! Thanks guys for the tip!
