For all of you "Disco Deva's" here,HELP!

I had my tv on #845 which, here in Hawaii is called "Strobe" and is mostly classic underground disco dance music.I got a nice dance floor built here adjacent to my apartment and tonite,an old song by a group named "Harlow" was playing and I,working out with ankle weights, was too busy exercising to get anymore of a glance to get the name of the song but remembered its leriks?
It goes like this:

Satisfaction guaranteed!
A destination's all I need.
Just a little bit of loving will make it last.
But grab it fast, forget the past.

I heard it decades ago at Studio 54 in New York while having a fling with a guy who I wound up spending 6 years with!Five of which were happy ones.
If I can get the name of the song,I may be able to find it on ebay.
I heard it play a few times in B'more at "Mary's" and the "Hippo"but never had it in my huge collection of 12" vinals.I should have since, every time I'd hear it,no matter what area of the club I was located,I'd run for the dance floor and get lost in the music.I still do that here and am almost finished my dance area.
I am tiling the new floor and had some string lights to put up.
One string is little tvs with different scenes from 12 individual "I Love Lucy"episodes.Another is a string of laundry on a long clothes line. Each piece of clothing lights up!
With 12 of the 30 sets of Westinghouse Laundromat salt and pepper shakers I own,I used a metal rod to melt a hole into and put string lights inside each one.I'm planning on stringing them so there's a washer or dryer in between the pieces of clothing.the room is all screaned in and there is going to be a long steel bar installed firmly to practice and stretch on.
I know that may sound a bit severe but I am really getting in to the music again and losing the excess weight I aquired after my battle with thyroid cancer.

Mahalo!!

Gary!,

I danced to them all! From "The Hills of Katmandu","Popcorn","Hit and Run lover","Sinderella","Right on Target"and High Energy" to "Coming Out of Hiding","Menergy","Reach",and "Take Off".If the mood is right and the music keeps pumping,I get lost into it and won't stop until the songs are all played or I hear "last call".Because of the location of the new dance area, which is just outside my dressing room adjacent to my shower,I can dance naked, see the Pacific, see the stars, and be free.Sometimes, when it's clear,I can even see Maui.If I get too sweaty,I go and rinse off with cold water and get back into the dance.last night,I was listening to some of the cds I got from my friend,Harry in New York. When I heard Lisa doing "Jump Shout" and Gary's Gang doing "Keep on Dancin'",I was lost.I began around 8PM and stopped around 11PM.Drinking 4 Cosmoplitans and schmokin'one "Doobee".I took a nice hot masage shower and went to sleep around 1AM.When I awakened at 7AM,it felt like I had slept all day.I was so relaxed and energized. Thanks again for another great song!

Now you done it!

had to go dig out my 45's and 12 inchers.....and dance around the house naked....again

So many men, so little time, how can I choose.........
Feels like I'm in love, my feet shake, my heart beats like a drum................

I miss the dancing days of disco.....and rollerskating....would you believe I have trophy's and awards for dancing on skates and a speed skater?...those were the days.....what the heck happen to those good times?

thanks for the memories

Parents of the little spoiled rotten bastards that fell and got a little boo boo on their little presious shin suide the Rollarenas all of us miss tremendously. I never, never fell dancing or rollerskating. In Baltimore,I went to one in Dundalk about two miles from my Aunt Nat's house. She would pick me and any of my friends I was skating with and let us spend the night at her place then drop us back to the RR for the saturday matine'from 11AM to 4PM.She'd come back and take us to McDonalds or Burger King for a late lunch then drive us home.

There was an organist who was great and in between his 5 songs, there'd be 10 of the current disco songs you'd hear at the clubs. They also had a shop where you could spend quite a bit to rev up your skates.I liked speed skating and doing figure 8s out in the ceter of the rink. But,If I was practicing and one of my songs came on,I'd go plowing out onto the rink and skate like I was in the olympics! But,as I said no falls,no trips and I would successfully dodge the ass holes who tried to skate.

My sister was also as into rollerskaing as I was but was tripped by a jerk who was horseplaying with his girlfriend during a "Couples only" skate and broke her tib-fib.She hasn't skated since and that was around 1980.

I would put on my rollerblades and rollerblade 6 miles to work then rollerblade back home, change into my dance clothes and rollerblade another 12 miles to the Hippo,a gay club in Baltimore where I was well known and well liked.I'd put my skates behind the DJ booth and put on my Reabocks and tare up the dance floor for 3 or 4 non-stop hours. Then,I'd either get a ride home or go ahead and rollerblade back. The only issue there was drunks driving the roads I had to rollerblade home on. However,no issues there either.

On the safe side Toggles, the kids were at a sleep over, besides I don't think I look that bad naked, unlike others, I DO own a full length mirror, but still remembered to pull the shades down...lol...not much different at the clubs, DAZEY DUKES and black leather work boots, I like to travel light....lol...and at the sign of the CROSS, check yourself........

1. spectacle

3. wallet 4. watch

2. testicule

all there...I'm good....lol...GOD is gonna get me for that one...
learned my lesson, when doing a "RAIN DANCE" on the front porch....I must keep my clothes on, there seems to be a "force field" around me that makes the cars swerve off the road, if I don't....lol

now rollerblading, I have one heck of a time doing, can't seem to dance with these on, so I stick with my SP204's
