It's Saturday night, and I am finally getting the chance to use my Christmas present from Chuck & Rich (aka Perc-o-Prince). They knew I was looking to add the Sunbeam Carousel Rotisserie to my collection of vintage rotisseries, and lo and behold, it was under the Christmas tree this year, in the original box, with instructions and optional shish-kabob attachment. Tonight's dinner was chicken, vegatables, and spanish rice. Enjoy!

Kenmore.....

That Rotisserie is WONDERFUL!!! I have one that I inherited from my mother, which she got new in the 60's. I use it constantly and my eye round roasts come out to perfection every time.

Ron,

I love your dinnerware, my Mom has had that pattern since it was introduced by Corning in the 70's. That rotisserie looks like it can be a very versatile appliance as well.

Nice dinnerware

I have the same kind. It was my grandmother's from I guess the 70s as stated. They didn't have a dishwasher so it's in much better shape than the similar tan one my parents had that was recently replaced. It suffered much fading.

We were out on Saturday

But will Tuesday dinner be okay?
Mmm. Something smells good in the Regal Poly-Pot™. The weather here has been pretty loathsome so it seemed like a good night for

Some homemade vegetable soup. Normally, I cut the beef into smaller chunks but it was still partially frozen when I threw everything in so I said to heck with it. With some bigass biscuits, it made a nice dinner, indeed.

Not having anything to do with dinner...

But I thought I'd post a picture of my new percolator while I was at it. I only got it because it looked a little cool and space age; it's far too new for my taste. It also makes lukewarm coffee and after a trip through the dishwasher and a round of Dip-It the coffee still tastes stale so it's going to Goodwill.
Still, the timer worked...

Beeyouuuteeefull foods, guys--all of it, top to bottom

Veg, I have that exact crock pot--how cool !

Chuck, did you see my turkey friends in your "View" thread?

That's the best slow cooker I've ever had, and I've had a bunch of 'em. You can't take the pot out for cleaning, but that genuine Teflon II coating makes cleaning a breeze!
