I was at Family Dollar last week getting cleaning supplies, and decided to try the Sauvitel fabric softener, since I've read about it several threads.

I really like it, but I use less than the recommended amount, and I diluted in the softener dispenser. The only scent they had was Field Flowers, hopefully they will get some other scents for me to try later. Another softener that I tried that was inexpensive and really liked was Totally Awesome brand that Eric's mom bought at Dollar General or Family Dollar. Sometimes the "cheap" stuff can be pretty good, LOL

Field Flowers

My ex-partner bought a bottle of that stuff about 4 years ago. I liked how it worked but the scent was way too strong for me.

I was cleaning out my armoire a few months back, and I found some clothes that I had put away back then. Interestingly, they still smelled like the Suavitel.

I have a bottle of the Totally Awesome softener. Not as good at the overall softening, but great on static and a very mild scent when dry. I buy it whenever I am at Dollar Tree. Amazingly, their detergent is quite respectable too for ordinary clothes, no enzymes for the tough stuff, but for lightly soiled clothes it's just fine. A buck for 32 loads is hard to beat too.

I LOVE SUAVITEL

I'LL SAY IT AGAIN I LOVE LOVE LOVE SUAVITEL (ULTRA FORMULA, IN THE BLUE BOTTLE 60 LOAD FROM WAL MART TO BE SPECIFIC) I GUESS I AM JUST A "SCENTS" TYPE OF GUY. MY BROTHER ON THE OTHER HAND HAS HIS WIFE USE UNSCENTED EVERTHING...UUUUUGH!

We bought a bottle of that stiff a few years ago.

We were woken up in the middle of the night with burning noses the scent was so strong! We had to change the sheets. If we wash anything in Sauvitel the entire house reeks of it. And we used less than 1/3 of a capful.

Before they made it 2X and 3X it was a nice softener. Very gentle on the scents.

I love Suavitel too!

I use softener mainly for the scent, so Suavitel is perfect for me. My favorite is the Rose and Cedarwood scent.
