I wanted to see if anyone has an iron like this or knows where I may be able to find another like this. It is a 1980's Sears Best/Lady Kenmore Steam and Spray iron with SilverStone sole plate and auto shut off. I purchased one on ebay and upon opening the box there was a cheap plastic iron inside, sent it back for a refund, apparently seller never looked in box to see what was really in it.
Anyway I really was set on having this iron and would really appreciate if anyone has this iron and would be willing to sell it let me know, it will be really appreciated.
Attached is a picture of the box so you can see what the iron looks like.

Thanks for any help,

Sam

The Lady was a Sunbeam

I had both this iron and it's twin the Sunbeam, both made by Sunbeam, as I remember they did not last too long due to the steam holes getting clogged, even though I used distilled water as instructed. Sometimes I have seen these at Estate Sales, Good Luck!

Great Call there drewz!

Yep this iron is a "re-badged" Sunbeam Iron! One of their first from the "monitor" series. Not an iron I would buy either, prefer an iron having a "burst of steam" feature as well as having spray. This iron will not stand up to a lot of usage as a steam iron, the self cleaning feature not as good as you would expect even using distilled water. I don't iron enough to invest in one costing $75.00 or more like some of those Rowenta's like many seamstresses have. My mom still has her first dry iron, a Sunbeam Ironmaster purchased back in 1953 , but has gone through 5 or 6 steam irons from different brands from Lady Petite, GE, & Sunbeam buying just basic steam model with no spray.
