This may or may not be an appliance, but I thought you guys might like it. It's an electric fireplace from Sears! Not only does it have the obligatory electric log, it has an electric space heater built into it. And it's serious about the heater part - it plugs into a 220v three prong dryer receptacle.

We had one in Denver when I was a kid
In a house we lived in from 1969-1974. I loved the house, and I was able to go back there this year and stopped by the house, and was given a tour!
They still have it down in the basement my dad finished off into a room. It still works, and still looks new. In fact, the basement was a timewarp, except for them adding a closet, it was almost exactly the same.
Talk about stepping back in time in a very, very cool way.
