I decided I would give it a try, since I've had no problems with the other varieties of SUP that I used. But the next time I get a 25 box of detergent, I'm going to make sure I have ride, what a pain it was on the way home by bus, LOL

PS: Sears has FREE shipping on all the UP detergents powder and liquid!

So what kind of scent does it leave on clothes, and does it linger for any length of time? Please let us know after you try it.

I used it today to wash my work clothes and bed linens. There is no scent, just smells clean, I can't tell the difference between things washed in the previous detergent (Sun) and the UP in softness. It was the same price as the UP green box, so I thought I would give it try. I was changing the ice coffee at work Thursday and got splattered a little with the coffee and the stains came right out. I think when this box runs out I will probably go back to green box.

Has anyone tried the UP with Oxy?

PS I think the green box left a nicer scent.

I'm using the UP with Oxiclean right now. On Thursday nite, I washed a curtain panel that hangs on one of the sliding glass doors in the breakfast area. This is the door that everyone uses to go out to the patio, INCLUDING THE DOGS!!!! I noticed while making dinner how diry and gross this panel had become so I immedately took it down, read the care lable which said to wash in cold water on the gentle cycle. So I did, using 1 level scoop of the UP with oxiclean. I was shocked!!!, the curtain panal came out super clean.

I have used the UP with fabric softner in the past and like it, but didn't feel it got things as clean as other UP powders did. Also tried the UP with softner with liquid and it was just ok at best, but did leave a little more scent. The scent reminded me of what Ivory Snow use to smell like back in the '70s.

fortech:

I KNOW, RIGHT!!!!--I truly was amazed!!! I ment to say earlier that I've always been a Gain fan. Loved the clean and scent I got with Gain. But, Like the rest of the country and trying to make every penny stretch as far as it can, I think my new daily driver is going to be UP. Can't beat the price, the cleaning power is there, but do wish it had more scent.

I bought the HUGE box of this for my mom--she loves it - she never really liked the orange box for some reason - I think it's because she doesn't buy fab softener and this does has some in it.

Ok,

This morning I did a load which consisted of a white king sized cotton woven blanket, a cotton (terry cloth like) bath robe, and two terry cloth like bath mats in the UP with oxiclean. The Blanket gets dirty because of the dogs always jumping up on the bed. I have to say it did an ok job. The blanket got white, but there were still some paw prints that didn't come out. But, the other 3 items look great

The Sears Ultra Plus with Oxyclean is a very good detergent. I've only tried it on whites in the Miele 1918, but it works as well as anything else (including Persil powder) and seems to leave things relatively soft.

It has a mild, pleasant scent.
