very poor detergent???

Not in my opinion. I have used it for several years, since developing a severe allergy to Tide. Always used the orange box, but recently bought a box of the formula with Oxi-Clean in it. Both do a great job, even on dirty white socks......

Sears did away with the bucket because of it not being biodegradable........but you would think one could recycle it....

that was an added benefit.....for the price you got detergent and a useful bucket

I agree with the lot here.....

I've seen nothing but positive posts about Sears detergent. And since it seems quite a few of us use STPP in our laundry to soften hard water and increase cleaning power, that mineral build up shouldn't be a problem when using the Sears Detergent.

I wish I could get the oxy version here but not anymore it's been discontinued and if I order on line from the US it only costs about $98.00 between the product and shipping so I think I'll stick with the stain fighter as it is labeled here and it works absolutely DELICIOUS !!!

I have to agree......

for me, UP works just as well, if not better, than Tide or any of the higher priced national super market brands. Not to mention my 8yr old Kenmore HE3 seems to love it. Maybe it's just me but I think the washer runs much more smoothly than when using other detergents.
