Sears Ultra Plus

A few questions about Ultra Plus:

- I've heard rumblings that the formulas for Sears Ultra Plus varieties might have changed and are now less-dissolvable / more "gritty". Has anyone seen this recently? Or is this just some folks complaining who don't know what they are doing?

- I know all varieties have OBAs - is the consensus that it is as eaten up with 'em as Tide? Or not so much? I am enjoying an OBA-free detergent right now, but it isn't as high performing as I'd like. Then again, I don't want to turn all my blacks into faded gray...

- And finally...Green or Orange box preference? Or what's really the difference?

Sears Detergent

I used Sears detergent in the orange box and experienced some of my black socks turning dark gray. no effect on anything else.
