The book's title is Collinsfort Village and, yes, it even has references to appliances (the bear and the griffin live in a cave on a hill overlooking the town, but the cave is furnished like an upper-middle-class bachelor pad).

Oh, and the dragon flying in the distance is a mural painter.

Makes perfect sense, don't it? :)

The book will be out in time to give as a Christmas gift next year.
