Husky Suds .... hmmmmmmmm

WOOO
Some how they just put alot of testosterone into laundry day. I bet there were many housewives, back in the day, having there own personal fun with those "husky suds."

What the......

I would like to meet the guys who came up with this stuff. I bet there is a physcology paper to write here regarding the enuendo implyed. Rubbing, husky, duds, ...suds. I'm surprised the literary commission in southern states allowed such advertising or presentation on the package (yes, they had a commission in most southern states that kept an eye out for things deemed not appropriate). It would be interesting to check our newpaper holdings at the archives from the time period to see if it was sold here in Georgia.

Do we have a modern version of "husky suds"?

Kool.
Yeah, Super Suds was sold in the Atlanta area, although I remember it in a more colorful red and white box.
Made loads of suds and didn't clean clothes worth a s%#t.
Lots of folks used it, but I kinda got the idea it was really made for wringer washers. Nice to see those wonderful old boxes in such good condition!

The more popular economy brands I recall were Breeze (which included some sort of towel or wash cloth) or Duz (which included some sort of dish or glass ).
They also made TONS of sudz, and had great fragrances.
I seem to recall that Duz was a pretty good performer as well.
