Years ago, I found a very rare 1965 Westinghouse next to the TOL 30" range on eBay. It was, as far as I know, the last year for the deluxe models to have illuminated controls for the switches. My high school's home ec department got these and that is where I saw them. The range was in Arkansas. The owner, who was in her 80s, and I wrote back and forth because she wondered why I was buying this range from so far away. When I told her about seeing them in the home ec department at Avondale High School, she told that she and her husband lived in Avondale Estates, GA, in 1941 and even remembered the street name where their house was. She had purchased the range for her mother's apartment over their garage.
Last night I ventured on eBay and, lo and behold, found the owner's manual. Now I have the range, the sales brochure and the owner's manual is on the way.
This is similar to the way I have found owner's manuals for other ranges I have collected.
