Seeking a '60s Magic Chef Oven Temperature Knob

Sadly, during my recent "retro-renovation", my contractors threw away a bag with all the knobs for my early '60s Magic Chef stove. I scavenged a set of burner knobs from my grandmother's old Kenmore, but the oven temp knob didn't fit -- recently picked one up on eBay but it was the wrong size D fitting... I've been hoping to salvage a full set nearby, but in the interim I'm wondering if anyone might have an extra in their parts bins. Ideally would like to find the correct red knob but I'd like to hope that any 1960s era magic-chef temperature knob should have the same gradience...

There are places in the Southwest that specialize in old stove restoration.  One went by the name Old Road Home or something similar. I think that if you did a Google search for old stove parts or old stove restoration, you could find links to some places. There used to be a lot of stove restorers in California, but I don't remember any names.  Maybe others here will be able to offer more help.

 

Magic Chef pioneered the oven regulator for temperature control on gas ranges. They called it the Big Red Wheel and it was on the side of the range. There was a knob on the front just like the burner knobs for turning on the gas supply to the oven, but you set the temperature on the wheel. Friends had one decades ago and it was old then. For decades since then Magic Chef's oven knobs were red to varying degrees; some solid red like yours and some with red wings that you gripped for turning at the top of the knob.

If you remember, we have very similar ranges.
I did a quick search and couldn't find a set that was currently for sale, but I did find a few that had sold in the past.

@oliger I did see that eBay listing -- as mine did not have springs I was hesitant to gamble on those fitting properly...

I recently missed out on picking a set off of a stove that was for sale locally (but had already been sent to scrap by the time i messaged them!). Will try to reach out to some West Coast connections but I'll stay vigilant on my local Craigslist hunt!
