Hello!

I'm selling a Maytag Washer and Dryer but lost the serial information on the models and the items are at the home we are selling so I can't get to it too easily. Can anyone tell by the pics what years they are? Maybe what you think they'd go for? They are still in great and working condition! I'd keep them but not enough room to store til we buy a place of our own! Thank you in advance!

Maytag washer and dryer

When you open the washer lid the model and serial number is on the right on a metal plate towards the back, the same on the dryer, when you open up the door it is either in the upper left or right hand corner on a metal plate. Hope this helps.

The problem being as the seller mentioned....the machines are back at their old residence and they can't readily get to the machines to identify them. That's why they were asking for a little help identifying which model #'s they have.

Need someone with some knowledge of the Maytag line to chime in for this one.

I concur.

You might want to clean the mildew off of the front panel of the washer with some gentle disinfectant. Do it judiciously; you don't want to clean off any original paint or any of the finishes protecting the dials if possible. I would put them on eBay with an opening bid of $199.00 for the two of them with good pictures of the insides of each model (again, don't be like a lot of clueless sellers and forget to clean and spiff up that which you'd like to sell for a good price--it's no different than preparing to sell a vintage automobile). If you're lucky, you'll get a bidding war and make a little extra.
