Hi Richard,
So glad u decided to keep this machine. I made the mistake of getting shot of my much loved A3350 and have regretted ever since. So glad you have managed to get the timer sorted
having recently had the machine refurbed, I have since bought a maytag on ebay but I have had to spend money picking it up etc. As I only have space for 1 washing machine I am going to have to sell the hoover. Obviously would like the hoover to go to a good home and considerng the work its had done it needs nothing doing to it. its good as new.
Thought would offer first dibs on here.. I have no price in mind so make me an offer if you are interested.
As stated I am not looking to make any profit on the washer. If I could keep it I would as it's immaculate. I didn't want to put on here but feel I have to as I have just had a message telling me they are disgusted I am selling it. Not going to get into that here but I am in a bit or a financial mess at present. Yes I bought the maytag but overall I have to think long term. I paid £22 for the Maytag and long term this fits in the kitchen better and as I now have full house with housemates who have a lot of washing to do and the maytag can handle more washing when everyone's wanting to wash at the same time.
The Hoover was put into the shed for storage and I had no plans to sell it but I am having to sell a lot of stuff to make some money to pay for £600 on car repairs amongst other things. . I've credit cards that I have to pay off which I have used to cover bills etc. I have also had to get more housemates in to hell me out which is helping but I didn't want to get to this. I have been off work sick for a few months or so after having an operation and my pay has dropped off so I haven't had a full income. I have sold lots of other stuff already and the Hoover apart from a few other things is all that's left that mean something to me that I have held back on etc. I am not someone who goes out spending money on clothes etc I tend to put it all back into the house. I didn't want to put my financial status on here but I now feel I have to as it's offended people it seems.
I didn't want to be judged but I know me selling the Hoover has perhaps upset the guys who put time and effort into the revamp of the machine. This is not intentional.
Richard I'm sure the guys who helped get the Elctron 1100 up to scratch understand. It's your machine. You do what you want with it . Pay no attention to the nasty people who have emailed you.
I just wanted to update you all... In the end I could not part with the machine... it means something to me and I was panicking out money before. The good news is that I have managed to sort most of that out and its "manageable" so I will be keeping the machine. It is safely covered up in the shed warm and cosy.
I reckon its going to be brought back into service as the daily driver very soon as I am not having much look on the maytag front with the machine I have...
Just wanted to update you all and im sorry for the guys who put hard work into the machine for me to fully service and restore it for me. You understand that I was not in a good situation financially and sometimes bills and house mortgage have to come before hobbies. Fortunately I was able to work something out without having to part with the Hoover.
Excellent that the financial situation had improved and that you are able to keep hold of the machine. Your determination, over the years, to get the machine back on top form shows how fond you are of it.
