Hey Kyle, I didn’t know you were on the TV Show Modern Marvels. That was sooooo cool and once again you did a super job!! I sure hope you and your parents are coming to the VCCC convention next week; it would be so great to meet such a fine young man and collector! I’m going to want your autograph, it’s not everyday I get to meet a Super Star!

Kyle I see that are some mean and uncalled for comments written on the YouTube posting, especially on pages 1 and 2 of the comment section, but I want you to know and I can speak for many of us here at automaticwasher.org that we are all very proud of you and what you have done with your collection. To so many of us it would have been only a wonderful dream to have accomplished what you have done by the time we were 12 years old. Please ignore these people and do know that you have lots of friends here who care about you.

A sad diversion from what will be a great time -

Great job, Kyle - that's one of my son's favorite shows but we missed this one, glad to see it now.

I'm sure your parents have encouraged you to ignore the childish, trailer-trash comments posted on the YouTube site, insecurity and low self-esteem is such a pitiful sight in adults. I've never heard anyone from the VCCC or this site making fun of you, it's best to just ignore these "people" and enjoy your hobby. There are quite a few of us here that continue to be disappointed and saddened by a couple of people in particular that are making these comments, please do your best to ignore them - we are.

Hope to meet you and your parents in Omaha!

Let's keep this situation in context: It's one thing when we adults are attacked. Even I -- frail and fragile touch-me-not that I am -- do have enough life experience to put these middle-aged bullies into perspective. Kyle, just a little kid, has not yet accummulated such experience. I can only imagine, with great sadness, how he is feeling right now.

I imagine he'd appreciate some emails of support.

I just watched the video on YouTube and I wanted to congratulate you on your wonderfull collection of vacuums.
Just ignore the comments on YouTube, that type of low life have nothing better to do with their time. I don't know you but I'm sure you have more integrity in your little finger than those low life scum have in their entire body. Enjoy your wonderful hobby and never let people like that get you down.

It is really important that Kyle knows that we are proud of him and no one here or in the Vacuum club is making fun of him because like Greg said I have not heard any of that. Kyle said to me in his email "i haven't been myself honstly that really hit me hard and i have been kinda asking myself why i did some of the stuff in the first place but hey i have you and other supporting members". That just breaks my heart, everyone should be PROUD of their collections always and Kyle's collection is something to be very proud of! I think you're the coolest kid around Kyle and I know 99.99999% of this world agree with me!

Thanks everyone for supporting Kyle.

Kyle, as president of the VCCC, I can assure you that there is no truth to any of those statements made on You Tube. I have only heard positive comments about all of your TV appearances from members of the VCCC.

As the comments have been shared above, hold you head HIGH, these are adults with many issues making these posts. Jealousy is an ugly, nasty, and very negative thing. One can only hope that these folks find peace with themselves and others. They have all ready excluded themselves from many friendships (and I might add - long term friendships). They have also been asked to leave several different forums for bad behavior.

You have shown more maturity in the way you have handled yourself then any of those posters have in a very long time. Your parents should be proud of you.... I know many of us here and at Vacuum Land are proud of you!!!

Follow your dreams Kyle, perhaps you will someday design a vacuum that is better than the Dyson and build a company as strong as Hoover once was!!!!! Don't let these negative, jealous and mean spirited folks get you down.

I truly do hope that you will ignore those foul comments. You are a good person with a bright future. You have a fantastic collection that most of us can only dream about. You have a great family and I know that your parents ARE very proud of you. You have accomplished so much in so little time. Please like the others have said hold your head HIGH out there in the public eye. You have nothing to be ashamed of. We all need to be proud of our collections and share them with others. You are very good at sharing your collection and patiently explaining your passion for collecting them. Never lose that!

We have ALL been at the butt of those "other" club's very lame jokes. They think it is funny. Sad because the joke is always the same. They are not very intelligent so they must make us all seem like less than we really are so that they may try to look good. They will never look good. They will always lose. Kyle you have a HUGE organization standing with you member or not. This little very little group has no support. You do not want to be with them anyway. They have nothing but each other. Even their vca "convention" was a flop. You were part of a much bigger gathering here in North Canton a month ago.

To those that did this to Kyle. Shame on you. You can't take passion away. Kharma will not be kind to you. Think how you might want to be treated. What possible gain could you get from all of this? Who really wins here? Kyle...that is who. He has the support. Kyle has the collection. Kyle has friends. What do you all have? Each other....and look at what that consists of (see Jeff Parker's earlier post!). I know that these "other" club people are NEVER welcome in my home. I will NEVER befriend them. I surely hope they just stay the hell out of my town next year!

And yes, Kyle, please build a better vacuum in the future so that we do not have to have crappy dirt devils and dysons. Wouldn't it be funny if someday you are a giant vacuum tycoon like David Oreck? Wouldn't it be great if we had to answer to you? I hope that you will treat us kindly.

Again shame on you folks out there for your comments. I am sure that I will now catch hell for my views. I really do not care. After all they are just vacuums. I have a life with important goals. Vacuums are fun, but life is so much more than that.

Oh...Kyle by the way great job on Modern Marvels. I was really impressed. Hang in there!

I only echo the comments made by Tom Anderson and Morgan Frazer.

In examining the comments on YouTube, and all the emails, posts and otherwise from the VCA group and it's ilk, it is very interesting to note a common thread.

They take delight in making asinine comments about others. Of note, they, for the most part are a poorly educated, (most probably did not graduate from high school--just read their posts and laugh!), are not college graduates, do not own their own homes, (trailers not included), do not own their businesses, (as may be advertised), do not contribute to their communities via finances or time, do not attend a church or synagogue and will never live in home as nice as the one you and your parents occupy.

So, to make them feel better for their shortcomings in life, due to their own choices, they build themselves up by attacking you, me, or anyone else that they perceive as having a, "better life", or attracking attention because of our achievements.

Always keep this in mind. Your are an achiever, a go getter and deserve the attention you have attained. They, the "other", group will claim that your friends, and VCCC kinfolk, talk behind your back. Well, you can only imagine what THEY could be saying about you.

Hang in there kind! You are amoung friends and comrades.

If your less than admiring group reads my last post, be ready for them to jump in an attack me instead of responding to what really is the issue.

They will defend their tirades even though they don't read, ("The Globe" and "The National Inquirer", excluded), don't travel, (fear of flying is NOT an accepted answer as is the, "high fares", of Trailways and Grayhound Bus Lines), and fine dining is cheese whiz, carrot curls and wonder bread.

Just remember, their world is the size of the head of a pin. When you get outside of that world, or are educated enough to appreciate it, when you can, how can you expect those who don't any kind of personal growth? Some of us are just more evolved. Case closed.
