Boy, this is way off topic, but I got one of these from Overstock.com and they are fantastic. I don't move at all during the night, stay on my back and sleep wonderfully now. They have just the right amount of give/support. If you are thinking that your mattress is only fair to good, get one of these, they are an amazing upgrade. About 175 bucks with free shipping. With two people, it tends to get a little warmer so layered bedding top options are good. In the summer, with a comforter and two people in the humid Northeast, you need to switch to just a cotton blanket because you sink in a few inches which insulates you, wonderfully. I just had to tell you guys, at the risk of sounding like an informercial.

I always like to hear about the personal experiences of persons with products that are outstanding. Thanks for sharing!

Personally, I like the military cot hard mattresses. I guess that comes from years of sleeping on counter-tops, in chairs, on floors, etc.

Well, Whirlcool, thanks.

I think when it comes to sleeping arrangements, there are more flavors than an ice cream store. But what I like about this topper is that it is only soft for a short while and then firm where/when you want it to be. No puns intended. Some NASA foam thing, weighs a ton, but worth it.

I got a 2 inch version a few years ago. While it was certainly comfortable, I had to remove it when I broke three ribs and a shoulder blade last year. It simply made it too difficult to get in and out of bed. Got used to the regular mattress since then, the topper is now busy taking up major room in a spare closet.
