Setting up house

Looking for washer, dryer, and dishwasher. I am restoring a house built in 1946, and trying to more period appliance in it. I love the vintage look, and truly believe they don't build them like they used to. The washer and dryer are going in the basement, so they don't have to match or be absolutely immaculate. Any suggestions on what to look for (models and makes), or where else to look would be greatly appreciated. Thoughts on dependability, and what features make a vintage appliance still useful today.

I have two dishwashers if you want to come to nc

I am looking to downsize or get rid of my collection entirely. I have a kenmore impellor top load that would definitely be period correct (will need restoration work). I also have a youngstown kitchen that is great cosmetic shape but needs the latch mechanism.looked at. I can't ship. If interested let me know.
