Should I grab this Asko?

Should I go get it? No idea what's wrong with it though.

I would. They're relatively easy to work on but parts could be pricey.

Er staat geen foto bij, dus geen idee wat voor type het is. Dat zou ik vragen.

Ek sal ook vra vir foto, anders mors jy dalk geld agter 'n swak produk, en jy moet reis daarheen. ( I would also ask for a photo otherwise you may just waste money on driving there all the way)

Asko usually are rather good machines.

Called them last night and they want 50 euros for it, they say it leaks from somewhere under the machine?

A leak from somewhere under the machine can mean many things. A leaking hose is easy to replace, but it could be a leaking outer drum too. That's worse to deal with.

Ask them when they notice the leak. If it isn't until just before the end of the cycle and isn't a huge puddle, then it could be the small hose that feeds into the fabric conditioner 'cup' which rests at the front of the drawer. These hoses can split with age, my mothers certainly did on her ASEA Cylinda 12000, the model before yours.

 

When it all boils down to it though,  they're a 22 year old machine. You've got to expect some problems.
