Should I Jump on this *Free* Newish KA dIshwasher?

The pump sucked up adhesive? What the hell...any ideas on what might have happened here?

Brand new but not working due to faulty installation. Adhesive damaged the pump motor according to our home warranty people. Warranty doesn't cover. Came with our new house, we have no paperwork on it.

whats the worst if could be, replace the pump?.....and then you will have a great machine.....
