I am a Christian and can't understand why people are like this... Unfortunately some Christians are the most hypocritical group.

Not meaning to offend anyone with the following but I don't agree with homosexuality but I am most certainly not going to criticise anyone. According to the Bible all sins are equal so therefore it is exactly the same as the cookie I stole from the jar 5 minutes ago.

Unfortunately some Christians take this to extremes and I believe that these people need to take a good hard look at themselves and need to be honestly able to say that they are perfect.

I can 100% guarantee they wont... I believe Christians in the US of A should have the right to preach... But most certainly NOT to harass...

But this mentality is the exact problem. If you believe it's your place to "agree" or "disagree" with someone else's sexual orientation, you're still part of the problem.

Sexual orientation is not a choice and cannot be changed. It's like saying you "disagree" with people who are left-handed. What's the point of doing that?

This is precisely how religions have justified the persecution of gay people for the last 3000+ years.

Honest people judge themselves, not others, while hypocrites pretend there's some kind of difference between homosexuals and homosexuality ("love the sinner, but hate the sin").

It's not what some people do, it's who some people are. Your two choices are to accept us as full and equal partners in our society, or fire up the ovens like the Nazis did. Everything in between those two choices is just delusion and hypocrisy.

Embracing the geocentric view.
Insisting that one race or gender is superior to another.

I've never understood the concept of "disagreeing" with homosexuality...it's a little like "disagreeing" with blondes, or people with green eyes, or people over 6ft tall.

At it's core, it supports the deluded assumption that sexuality is in some way a choice.

I have no problem with people believing homosexuality to be a sin or something they don't agree with so long as they don't force their belief on me in any way through any means such as inequality in employment or civil laws. Believe what you will, live how you like and leave others to do the same even if you don't agree with it.

We have a self proclaimed baptist minister that comes into the office on occassion that strikes me as a deeply buried closet case. He reminds me of a 70 year old version of Ted Haggard. And he always brings up the subject of homosexuality to anybody that will listen to his rants. I bet he's had more d**k in his life than these ladies put together.

Keven, IMHO name calling directly to a single person and fellow club member is never a good option. I think words as harsh as you are using are not necessary and lowers people respect for the person using them. Many times I do agree with what you are saying, but sometimes the delivery could be a bit softer.
