I like the food warming space behind the burners. And the kitchen that it's currently in - except for the floor - is kinda cool also.

Our garage groans whenever the car comes in and out at the moment, and its become an obstacle course to get in.

Jeff, those sinks are still very common over here. Most houses still have a 1 full sink, a half sink, and a fullsize draining board. Its still possible to order a double sink with double draining boards, most houses just dont have enough room to install them anymore.

I'll have to see if I can find the pic of me at my grandmothers in a high chair, in front of their 1950's STC Fridge, and a wall of Orange and cream built in cupboards.

Next time we're up at Michaels mothers, I'll take some kitchen and bathroom pics, as both are still very early 70's in style. Think Turquoise Laminex (Formica) and embossed wallpaper.

The bathroom is tropically floral, with a brown glass shower screen, and purple tiles.

My kitchen is similar style to the one in the pic, minus the tiles. Cupboard doors are pale green inside white frames, benchtop is pale grey and white check, all three square feet of it. I HATE it. Can't wait to move to the new place - just a few weeks away now.
New kitchen sink has double bowls & double drainer - it was a prerequisite from day 1. In the words of Mattywashboy in his Whirlpool video, "I love it, I love it, I love it."

Does Leon live in Brissie too? Maybe it's got his name on it???
