Snow in Atlanta

Last weekend we had a bit of snow, now 4 days later it's almost 70. Spring has finally arrived. This is a shot of me and the pups in the back yard of the rental concern in Atlanta last Sunday.

The pups had never seen snow before and had a grand time playing in it.

And I'm not directing that at the pups! I do believe I see the snow melting all around your hot self there Greg!

Glad to hear it's warming up after that crazy round of snow. We are drying out here after 32 days of wet weather. Still not enough to kill the drought but we're in way better shape (96% of normal rainfall for the season) than we were a month ago.

There was more snow in North GA

We had almost 4 inches of snow 50 miles Northeast of Atlanta. Some areas more east of us had 9+ inches. That is so rare for GA. We lost power Sunday afternoon around 3:30pm and got it back on Monday 1:30pm. We heated with a kerosine heater and cooked on the grill on the deck and listened to the radio. My little bichon frise didn't know what to think of it. She just wondered from door to door. But once she got out in it she went crazy!

It was one of prettiest snows GA has seen in a long time. My kind of snow here today gone tomorrow!
