well after 4 months of liking my new LG it has broken. Started it up, filled with water and just sat there counting down a few minutes when an LE error code showed up.. LE is a motor failure. I unplugged it for a few minutes, tried again, same result. I called LG customer service, I had registered it, but they couldn't find anything, so I gave the serial model no etc.. and she created a new file. She told me to unplug it, press the start button for 5 seconds which I did,, same result. She went onto their system to book a repair and I was told nothing was showing available for my area on their system for the two authorized repair agents in London. So she told me to call them and give them my (their) file number which I did. I call the first number and it seems out of service. I call the second number and give the woman their the LG CNN number and she tells me they are unable to look that up and need the RN # directly from LG.. before I finished that call I asked her how long if'n when I get this sorted out it would be before they could come and fix it.. at least a week. geezus.
So I call LG back and explain what happened, had to do it twice to make the customer service rep understand what had transpired. She asked me for the serial and model # and I said I had just provided that on my previous call barely 45 minutes earlier.. she finally found it.
Now I have to wait up to 48 hours for LG to call me back with an appointment..
I'm spitting nails and vibrating as I type this I'm so pissed off. I can't believe it.. how many things have broken this year,, our central air last week, still haven't got that replaced, long story on the shitty service I got from one company.. etc.. maybe I should write a book..
There's nothing left to do but laugh I guess... have at er
