I abruptly went to Greece a few days ago. I was at the grocery store and just had to stop at the local appliance dealer to see. I only had a minute but I thought I’d share a few photos.

How does one "abruptly" go to Greece? Were you kidnapped? Plane hijacked and forced land in the place? Or were you the victim of a revolution or coup that forced a change in travel plans. *LOL*
Do I see a DeLonghi washing machine in picture #3? Didn't know they sold washing machines.
Yes I believe it is. It’s a 10kg model too. I’ll get more photos, hopefully some videos. I’m here for 2 weeks.
Bit of background with me, I am 100% Greek, and most of my family still resides in Greece. My grandmother is old, currently on oxygen and is now bedridden. I’m not sure how much longer she has so my brothers and I came over to visit. It’s pretty easy (and cheap) for me to visit.
Not the best circumstances to visit, but I’ll make the best of it.

The Cotton cycles with the 60 and 40 symbols are energy saving cycles, same wash results at lower temperatures.
The fast cycles are 15, 45 and 60 minutes, a bit awkward because more often you see 15, 30 and/or 60 minutes.

Looks suspiciously like one of the Chinese made machines (Midea or Haier or Hisense). I'd say Midea.
I had a quick look at Delonghi UK (no washing machines); Delonghi Greece (none either). Delonghi probably buys them in, the way Currys here gets 'Logik' machines, GlenDimplex/Belling gets 'Belling' machines made for them, and Argos gets 'Bush'.

'Formil Express' appears to be a handwash detergent.

So sorry to hear of your Grandmother not doing well, that's always very difficult.....even in the best of circumstances. I hope she'll get better and improve. Enjoyed the pictures, even the laundry detergents. I'm afraid that I'm not familiar with those brands except Tide, as I've not traveled to Europe. Do you know what would be the equivalent to Skip detergent here in the US? Looks to be the most popular as they seem to carry a lot of it. Of all the dtergents what would be your pick?

Skip is a Unilever product. In the USA Unilever sells Surf. Not sure if it is an equivalent, but it's from the same company.

Yes, UK Persil is also owned by Unilever. Don't know how wide it is available in North America.

Crosfield soap makers had UK and other countries outside of Germany. Basically for a start Henkel sold off said rights because it was easier to license Persil than set up various factories and so forth all over Europe.
Lever Brothers purchased Crosfield and thus got their mitts on Persil for UK and elsewhere. Henkel however still owns rights to Persil for Germany, North America and other places Unilever does not. Over the years each have attempted to buy the other out, but no one would budge.
This being said neither company uses "Persil" universally. In France because Persil means "parsley" Unilever's top detergent is "Skip". Henkel OTOH markets their top laundry product under "Le Chat" brand.
For North America Henkel now markets Persil. You can find Unilever Persil on various UK/Europe import sites, and IIRC some members have spotted it in local specialty shops, but other than that Unilever does not sell the stuff formally here.

Just various brand names used that's all - in Pakistan Surf is such a strong brand that it has become the generickized name for laundry detergent. So no risk of another Unilever main brand being used (saying that , it didn't stop P&G putting Tide on the Indian market despite already having Ariel for years - PG having Ariel and Tide on main market sale in the same country is something almost unheard of now).

Sorry to hear about your grandma! Definitely not the best circumstances for a transatlantic trip.

Confusing brand as it's also sometimes marketed as cheap. Their top-tier equivalent to UK/IE Persil is Skip and is more or less identical to the UK and Irish products and French Omo and UK/IE Surf seem to be the same product.
Skip also has a lot more of a focus on Eco than UK persil as at present
